Ahoy Ian, our Club Editor Marie holds all the historic club records relating to Hardy boats, it may be worth contacting her to see if she can provide you with the information on your Hardy!
VAT was introduced in the early 70s so most if not all Hardy boats will have been involved, but I am not sure about VAT records.
